Big dreams and birthday wishes... this year mine is to try and help where I am able, and have a voice for those who can not speak for themselves. Clean water is something I think about daily. There is hardly a thing better to me then quenching my thirst, the feeling is unparalleled. And I can do that whenever I need or want. I have longed to be a part of bringing clean water to those who don't have it, in a long term sustainable way, for many years. And for my 31st birthday I took action. I wanted to ask for donations of $31 from all who would possibly give. With my birthday in the next few days I began the hunt for an organization I believed in and wanted to join. I found Charity:Water while doing research late one night, only a few days before my birthday. I love what they stand for, how they started and how relatable they are. It sealed the deal when I read that their first fundraiser was Scott giving up HIS 31st birthday! It was destiny. So here I am linked in and ready to give all I can to reach my goal of one entire water project $10,000! I am looking forward to knowing this years celebration was more then a day in my life.

But it doesn't have to be that way! There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

100% of every dollar you donate to my birthday campaign will be used to build clean water projects in developing countries. charity: water funds their operating costs separately through a group of private donors, so 100% of all public donations will go directly to people in need.
