I saw Scott Harrison (Charity Water's founder) speak at Big Omaha in May and was truly amazed at what he's doing and how he's doing it (it's also the only time I've ever seen 500 tech entrepreneurs tear up at the same time).
I liked the "give up your birthday" idea and told my wife at the time that it's something I'd like to do.
Today, Scott tweeted: "On the hunt for September babies. Are you born in September? We want your big day this year" and that was the call to action (I was born 9/6) that I needed.
