There's just one thing I want for my birthday this year.
That you, my dear friends, family and supporters (including all my facebook friends... yes all of you!) would join me on a mission to make the world a better place.
If you know me you know i believe we've been put here to give something back, to make a difference in this world we're often too quick to dismiss.

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said "...to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”

Africa is my home, always will be. And while blessed in South Africa during 1994 with a peaceful political transition and the end of apartheid, East Africa was struck by tragedy that echoed around the world. Rwanda experienced Africa's worst genocide in modern history.

"The people there overcame the darkest time in their history, and together, rebuilt their nation."

Charity water is helping them bring clean water to two major sectors of Rwanda. 100% of every dollar given will fund large-scale water systems in Rulindo District and bring clean, safe water to families, schools and clinics. When the systems are complete, they'll prove each one with photos and GPS coordinates.
