I'm looking for a different kind of Valentine's Day this year.
Rather than a box of chocolates (indulgent), perfume (pungent), or flowers (decadent) - why not join me in showing some real love for a community by making a gift of $20 or more and help bring clean drinking water to a community in need?
Let's face it, we actually need very little added to our daily lives. What's small to us can be huge to someone who lacks basic health necessities. Just $20 is enough for one person to have clean water for two decades, for example.
I put in a goal of $1,000 - maybe not too ambitious, but it is a start.
