In Craig and Rachel's words...
On June 27, I turned 30 years old. On September 9, Rachel will turn 30 years old as well..
We recently learned that millions of people don't live to see their 5th birthday. And why? Because they didn't have access to clean, safe water! This is not acceptable. This year we're celebrating our birthdays in a different way. Prior to this campaign we built a well with a $5,000 donation. We're asking for $30 for our 30th birthdays - and EVERY PENNY of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater wells in developing nations. Even better, every dollar is "proved" when the projects are complete, and photos and GPS coordinates are posted using Google Earth. Our goal is to raise $5,000 by Rachel's birthday, September 9, 2010. Please consider helping this great cause. Thank you so much! Craig and Rachel |
