80% of all diseases in the world are caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. Millions of people have to walk miles every day for water that is not even clean. It is easy to take something so fundamental for granted when many of us can get all the clean water we need with the turn of a faucet.

The developing world needs the necessities like clean drinking water long before it needs much of the technology that we help develop. As HP employees, however, we can use technology to help people through programs such as Charity: Water.
