Many of you may know that I love to surf and always try to be surrounded by water as much as possible. Maybe because I smile a little more when rain falls, maybe because it's so refreshing to drink or it could just be that water makes me a happier/healthier person. Whatever it is, I love water. It makes me feel good and im pretty sure you can relate one way or another. The reason i've started this campaign is to acknowledge something so simple we take for granted everyday that other people don't have... Access to Clean Water.

Initially I donate without telling anyone, honestly... who really cares what I do (maybe if i was a celebrity things would be different in the spotlight) but I wanted to do something that involved family and friends that would help other people. I know I can't help everyone in the world but if this campaign can get yout to help in any way by donating or spreading the word about this campaign, someone will be grateful for it. The little things will have a larger impact in the long run. Anything helps. I believe we can surpass the current campaign goal and in the future, more people will be involved to reach a larger goal of sponsoring a water well ourselves!

I came across mycharitywater.org last year and their photography/stories are amazing and powerful. To know that people don't have the privilege of what majority of the world has access to, struck me ten fold. I'm taking baby steps for my first charity campaign which is my learning foundation to pave the way of being involved with many other charities in the near future.
